ABOUT RISER
RISER Edmonton is a collaborative producing model for theatre and interdisciplinary artists to create and present new work. RISER Edmonton has supported 3-5 projects and companies per year since the program’s inception in 2022.
Starting in 2024, RISER shifted to a two-year model. Current RISER artists end year one with a work-in-process presentation, then end year two with a premiere run at at festivals across Alberta: Common Ground Arts’ RISER or Theatre Outre’s Quaint, Quirky & QUEER Cabaret & Festival!
