About Binding

Created by Calla Wright
Directed by Sarah Emslie

WORK-IN-PROCESS: Binding will be shared as a workshop production.

Cal, a nonbinary person, has lived with their breasts for twenty-one years, and looking at the surgery wait times, they’re not going anywhere anytime soon. What is that relationship exactly, and how do you go about coexisting with a body part you never asked for? Binding is a one person show with elements of drag, clown, and puppetry, about gender, transitioning, and what it means to have a body.
