A group of inner-city kids search for belonging, only to find themselves drawn into groups that lead to insidious ends.

SKNHEAD was developed by Shyanne Duquette with support from Canada Council, The Major Matt Mason Collective, Edmonton Arts Council, Alberta Playwrights Network, and through our 2025 – 26 Fresh AiR Artist Residency.

About SKNHEAD

The play interrogates masculinity, whiteness, systems of violence, generational trauma, and neglect. Investigating how the search for connection can lead to devastating consequences, particularly for those living on the margins. It is a story for culturally disconnected mixed-race latchkey kids who learned too early that the world isn’t fair, and perhaps never meant to be.

SKNHEAD will be performed in a secret location on 97 Street between Jasper Avenue and 102 A Avenue. The specific address will be sent to ticket-buyers on the morning of your scheduled performance. See access information below.
