We find ourselves in Amiskwaciwâskahikan (ᐊᒥᐢᑲᐧᒋᐋᐧᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ) on Treaty 6 territory, traditional lands of the Cree, Nakota Sioux, Blackfoot, Dene, Saulteaux, Metis, and other Indigenous peoples who have lived and created on this land long before we settled here. We are thankful for the opportunity to join in that long-standing tradition.

Common Ground commits to leaving the spaces and land we share on better than we find them and finding every opportunity to show our gratitude to those who came before us.
