Elisa Marina Mair-Sánchez (she/her) is an immigrant performer/creator originally from Mexico. She immigrated to Edmonton to pursue her BFA in Acting degree from the University of Alberta. Since graduating, she has had the pleasure of being a part of the Edmonton theatre community as a performer for various companies. Most recently, she has been exploring her artistic expression through creation and writing. An example of her work includes “Frida y Su Reflejo” (“Frida Through the Looking Glass”), a bilingual movement-based show about the life and death of Frida Kahlo. She has also written a number of short plays including “Rooftop Murmurs,” selected as a winner of the inaugural EdmonTEN festival, as well as “Alebrijes” commissioned by Concrete Theatre. Andrés (they/them) is a proud Colombian artist and creator, whose interests include puppetry, playwriting, acting, directing, creation work, design, and Piña Coladas. Their acting work has taken them all over, performing on stages from Whitehorse to Dublin, and their favourite part of being an artist is connecting with other artists and sharing knowledge and lived experiences through collaboration. Most recently has been focusing on increasing accountability, reflectivity, and agency for artists through their work as a freelance director, producer with Azimuth Theatre and outreach with Theatre Alberta. Jenna (she/her) is a mixed-race Director and Dramaturg based in amiskwaciy-wâskahikan (Edmonton). She is the Artistic Director of Concrete Theatre, the founding Artistic Director of Chromatic Theatre, and was the Dramaturg for the Playwrights Lab at the Banff Centre for over a decade. Jenna is the Director of Theatre Alberta’s Artstrek Program, and a recipient of the Canada Council’s John Hirsch Prize. She is a passionate advocate for equity in the arts, a fierce supporter of new play development, and is learning to raise small responsible humans while maintaining a career in the arts. 

Andrea (she/they | ella/e) is a queer Salvadoran stage manager based in Treaty 6 Territory. Claire (they/she) is a Queer theatre artist grateful to be living and creating in amiskwaciwâskahikan. A graduate of the University of Alberta’s BA/BEd program, Claire wears many hats and works as a stage/production manager, lighting/set designer, and theatre administrator. Recent projects include Rat Academy 2: Gnaw and Order (Batrabbit Productions), Reign Check (Walters & Watt), Re:Construct(ion) (Donkey Dog Theatre), Once Upon a Mattress: Youth Edition (Sky’s the Limit), Working It Out (AWHC 2023), and Stigma, Pistil and Style (Wee Witches).

Kat Evans (she/her) is a freelance professional Artist, Designer, Creator, Producer, PM/TD, Technician Stage Manager based in Amiskwaciy-Wâskahikan (Edmonton, Alberta) on Treaty 6 Territory, Metis Regional Council 4. She holds a BFA in Theatre Design from the University of Alberta, and is the Co-Founder of The October People Productions. She specializes in practical SFX and immersive design for theatre, film, and escape room experiences. Since 2011, Kat has also been a core creative team member of the Dead Centre of Town Collective, with Catch the Keys Productions.

In addition to stand-alone productions, Kat is involved in several festivals and presentation series throughout the year, including The Edmonton International Fringe Festival, RISER Edmonton, and Play the Fool Festival. She is honoured to have multiple Sterling Awards nominations for her Design work and in the category of Outstanding Individual Achievement in Production (Production Manager). She is the recipient of the 2025 Sterling Award in this category.

Even Gilchrist is a queer and trans scenic designer and theatre creator based on Treaty 6 territory (Edmonton). He is a graduate of the MFA Theatre Design program at the University of Alberta.

Nano Uribe is a sonic craftsman whose haunting vocals channel both the ache of loss and the swell of hope. A longtime contributor to Edmonton’s vibrant music scene, Nano is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist with a deep passion for composition and production. His work spans classical, ambient, and experimental genres, leading to a natural evolution into film and theatre scoring. With a relentless drive to expand his craft, Nano continues to push artistic boundaries across disciplines.

Jason Romero is a nationally recognized dance educator, artist and choreographer. Working in both film and stage Jason’s successes span a multitude of mediums and audiences. Newly, Artistic Director of Romero Dance Collective, Jason seeks to create a space for voices that have historically been underrepresented.

Tatiana Duque is an actor-creator and theater artist from Colombia, residing in Edmonton – Amiskwaciwâskahikan. She graduated from Bellas Artes (Cali – Colombia) and holds an MFA Theatre Practice from the U of A. Tatiana has trained in Collective Creation (Teatro la Candelaria – Colombia), Theatre Anthropology (Odin Teatret – Denmark) and has great interest in actor training, ensemble work, collaborative creation, and Latin American theatre. Some recent credits include El Funeral (Diaspora Diaries Collective); After the Trojan Women (Alma Theatre); Mothers (Bleviss Laboratory). Tatiana feels truly honoured to be a part of Ecos and this talented ensemble. ¡Gracias por acompañarnos!

Victor Snaith Hernandez is a Mexican-Canadian actor, designer, and technician, who is excited to be acting and creating on Treaty 6 territory. Recent acting credits include Marat/Sade in The Marquis de Sade (Drama 457); Liam (Fringe 2023). Recent technical credits include Assistant Lighting Design for The Citadel’s Life of Pi, Lighting Design for Mump and Smoot’s production of The Exit at Theatre Network and at One Yellow Rabbit’s High Performance Rodeo, and Dogbite Theatre’s production of TELEVANGELISTS. He would like to thank everyone in his life whose trust, support and encouragement are invaluable in this process!

Born and raised in Guatemala, Alexandra immigrated to Canada in 2010. She currently divides her time between Edmonton and Vancouver, and is a graduate of the Canadian College of Performing Arts, Studio 58 and most recently obtained her Masters in Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Victoria. As an actor, Alexandra has worked across Canada with companies such as The Stratford Festival, Arts Club Theatre, Citadel Theatre, Theatre Calgary, Bard on The Beach, Freewill Shakespeare, Persephone Theatre, Neworld Theatre, Theatre Gargantua, Electric Theatre, and Shakespeare Theatre Company (Washington DC), Puente Theatre. Alexandra is a Dora Mavor Moore Award and Jessie Richardson Award winning actor, and one of eleven individual recipients to be awarded The Lieutenant Governor’s Platinum Jubilee Arts and Music Award in 2022. www.alexandralainfiesta.com

Ana Mulino is a Venezuelan-Canadian theatre artist who graduated from the University of Alberta with a BA in Drama and East Asian Studies. Recent credits include Conrade in Much Ado About Nothing (Full Circle Theatre), Boy in I Am Not Batman (Third Draft Theatre), Inspector Gauche in Murder at Twin Cities (Erratic Players), and Kitty in Rode Hard and Hell Bent for Leather (Theatre Encounter). If not in a theatre, you can catch Ana in a basement struggling to sew a pair of pants or playing with her dog, Luna.

Phany, an Edmonton-based artist, immigrant, and member of the BIPOC community, is determined to immerse herself in her dancing skills and artistic creation. She has practiced several dance techniques, prominent among them are: Polynesian dance, classical ballet, and a few contemporary styles. She understands art as a communication channel that the artists use to express themselves, make a point, or encourage the audience to wonder about a topic. Having said this, she is committed to using her artistic knowledge and talents to tell stories and draw attention to topics that are important in today’s context.

Fernando Garcia Reyes (he/him) is an actor and songwriter based in Calgary, Alberta. His most recent works include Love’s Heavy Burden (The Shakespeare Company); In The Water (Incendiary Festival); and Danza De Los Viejitos (SCPA).

He strives to always be creating from his truth to have others feel seen in ways they don’t always have shown. His love for art wouldn’t come without the immense support from his family and his gratitude cannot be placed to words. You can find his works and travels on his Instagram: Fern.G.R

Carly, a disabled actor, playwright, and producer with Cerebral Palsy, is a graduate of MacEwan University’s Arts and Cultural Management program. Carly also works as a disability/access consultant and access coordinator, applying their lived experience to help curate accessible experiences and spaces for all. Meghan has been working in and around Amiskwaciwâskahikan on Treaty 6 Territory for over a decade now and is positively delighted to be working on Ecos! She has been the Venue TD for the Edmonton Fringe Festival since 2023 and takes freelance contracts throughout the year at several local institutions including MacEwan University, Fringe Theatre, The Arden, The Winspear, and The Citadel. Many thanks to her family and friends for their tireless support of her “work addiction” and to everyone who worked on this project for the dedication of their hearts and souls. We have created something beautiful!

Caitlan Argueta is an Edmonton-based technician. They are a graduate of MacEwan University’s Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Production and studied at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. Previous shows include Regression (Cathexis Theatre, 2024), Spring Awakening (MacEwan University, 2023), and CTRL-ALT-DEL (Concrete Theatre, 2022).
