This decision was not made lightly, but was made in consensus to prioritize the people, well-being, and process of theatre-making over any traditional expectation of product and performance.

We ask you to join us in uplifting the brave, generous, and talented artists behind Omisimawiw. This does not mark an end point for the production, but rather a brief interlude to make space for much more community-building and development to come. Congratulations to this outstanding team!

Two strangers on the Edmonton LRT meet and find out they’re sisters. When questions about their paternity and Indigenous identity occur they find affirmation in each other.
