By Skye Grinde
Designer and model-builder Skye Grinde presents three tiny moments – stories, fragments, memories – built to scale and placed in familiar spaces throughout Old Strathcona. Find all three and listen to their corresponding audio piece during the Festival.
HOW TO ENJOY BIG FEELINGS, SMALL WORLD:
Big Feelings, Small World features three installations at three different sites (see map below). Pack your headphones and a device with a camera that can scan QR codes. Find all three of Skye’s models, and scan their corresponding codes. At the code, you’ll find an audio pairing inspired by or created in collaboration with the model to enjoy as you explore the miniature.
WHERE TO FIND THE INSTALLATIONS:

at the Strathcona Edmonton Public Library

in the Whyte Avenue Army & Navy Storefront

in the Whyte Avenue Wee Book Inn
All locations are wheelchair accessible (“Creation” at the main entrance of Strathcona Edmonton Public Library can be accessed via a set of stairs at the front entrance, or a side entrance with elevator service).
